Artichokes in sauce with strips of Ham

200g CINCO JOTAS Iberian ham slices

FOR THE ARTICHOKES

500g artichokes

FOR THE SAUCE

40ml Cooking water from the artichokes

50g Olive oil

15g Flour

15g Garlic

parsley (to taste)

salt (to taste)

Preparation
FOR THE ARTICHOKES

Place a saucepan with water and seasoned with salt on the fire. Once it begins to boil, insert the whole artichokes and cook for 16 minutes. Cool.

Clean the artichokes, cut into quarters, and set aside.

FOR THE SAUCE

Add olive oil and chopped garlic to a saucepan on the fire. Once the garlic begins to brown add the flour until disolved. Add the cooking water from the artichokes and stir until the sauce is smooth. Add salt.

FINAL TOUCHES AND PRESENTATION

Heat the sauce and dip in the artichoke quarters. Add the chopped parsley and top with slices of Cinco Jotas Iberian ham. Serve.
